Front Country Sporting Festival @ The Ordinary and The Fork Farm and Stables
On June 19-21, 2009, The Fork Farm and Stables and The Ordinary, home of the International Wing Shooting School, will host the Front Country Sporting Festival. The festival is a family-oriented event that is focused on conservation, recreation and education. McKee Carson's sister company Field Sport Concepts, performed the initial feasibility study and master plan for The Fork Farm and Stables located in Norcross, North Carolina. Central American Tourism and Hotel Investment Exchange (CATHIE)
Bob McKee was recently invited by Panorama International principal Bill Clover to participate as a panelist on the topic of "The Hottest Trends and Opportunities with green/sustainable hotels and resorts in Central America - turning the right thing to do into the profiable thing to do." Bob's subject matter dealt with the many and varied scales of conservation and how they were applied in three case studies of projects completed by McKee Carson. Montgomery County, Maryland

Alex Forasté is President-elect of the Blue Ridge Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers

Union Bank Awarded 2007 Dugdale Award for Conservation
The Elizabeth Cabell Dugdale Award for Conservation is given for outstanding accomplishments in conservation by an organization or individual outside The Garden Club of Virginia.

Union Bank Plan Wins City Award
The City of Charlottesville Planning Commission Board named McKee Carson's innovative and environmentally sensitive plan for the Union Bank and Trust site on Barracks Road the "Outstanding Plan of Development".
