Nathan Brown, LA joined McKee Carson after graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute &
State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. While in school he was a member of the first place team in the ASLA/NSSGA National Student Quarry Reclamation Competition and also received the Johnson/McBee Scholarship for Excellence in Undergraduate Work. In 2006, his senior project, P.O.S.T. won a VA-ASLA Merit Award for student design and was presented at the National Association of
State Land Reclamation conference in 2007. He has been afforded the opportunity to be a guest lecturer at both Virginia Tech and UVA on the topics of ‘Portfolio Design’ and ‘3-d digital terrain modeling.’ As time progresses at McKee Carson, his project portfolio continues to expand and includes everything from institutional projects to rural estate planning and design.
